Can anyone tell me for sure if recording 1080P to SDHC cards (Class 10 Sandisc) works well without any write errors. I'm concerned because of the higher resolution and I wouldn't want to find that out recording a wedding, for example? I've only just done the 1080P firmware upgrade to my 160. The short test I've done seems ok. I've been using 1080i up to now with no issues.
Also, do you find any issues with renders when creating a DVD from 1080P?

The data rate of class 10 is fine. The only problem will come about if the card is poor quality. That's why a lot of people pay the extra for the Panasonic UHS-1 cards. I record 1080P60 AVCHD 28Mb/s all the time on class 6 and class 10 cards without any problems.

So how are your results in recording 1080/60P vs. 1080/60i? I use Premiere Pro CS5.5 and tried recording in 1080/60P with the LPCM audio option....it was a no-go, gotta first upgrade to CS6 to be able to do that. That upgrade will have to wait until next month or so.

I have done 50+ hours on the same 2 SD cards since the firmware update became available.

    Not one bad recording.

No problem either making DVDs but I must say I rarely burn DVDs.

No problem with my Sony Vegas Pro 11 with recordings done in PS mode..
