Hey,
I'm a little weary about this, so I figured I'd ask here first. I got my GH2 a couple months ago, and finally went ahead with the hack last night. Everything worked fine, but I just realized that I never updated my camera to Panasonic's firmware version 1.1, featuring the HBR mode...So my question is, what is the process updating to v1.1 while also maintaining my hack? Do I have to update using Panasonic's firmware, then load the v1.1 binary file into ptools to add my hack and re-update? Or can I just import v1.1 straight into ptools, apply my hack, and then update my camera? I'm pretty sure I remember reading that some people were having issues with this, but I can't seem to find that information anywhere. I'm probably overthinking it, but I don't want to screw up royally here.
If it makes a difference, I'm currently using DVXUser lpowell's Flowmotion v2.02. Which, by the way, is phenomenal...If you're reading this, thanks for your efforts on that! And also to Vitaly and the Driftwood guys, great work!
Also, and this is an unrelated question, just something I was wondering about...what shutter speed should I be using for the most natural motion when shooting in 24p cinema mode? Shouldn't I use 1/48? But that's not available?
Thanks, any help is appreciated!

If you already have Flow Motion v2.02, there's nothing to worry about. It is based on Panasonic's v1.1 firmware. And thanks for the props!

Thank!
So this must be a dumb question, but how do I shoot in HBR mode? Is there a separate option on the menu? I still only have Manual Movie Mode, 24P Cinema, and Variable. What am I missing?
HBR is 1080/30fps right? I've been googling like mad to make sense of this, but still confused...

Set the camera's mode dial to Creative Movie Mode and use the left/right buttons to select "High Bit Rate" mode. Once you have settings the way you prefer to shoot, you can then save that HBR setup to one of the three Custom slots. In NTSC mode, HBR records at 1080p30. In PAL mode, HBR records at 1080p25.

When I turn the dial to Creative Movie Mode, I don't have an HBR option...I have Manual, Cinema, and Variable. That's why I thought I had incorrect firmware...this mode seems to be missing.

Download and load the 1.1 firmware just like you did with the 1.0 firmware. Apply the patch (hack settings) and save. Basically go through the exact same process you did to do the hack, only don't load Firmware version 1.0, but Firmware version 1.1 upon opening pTool.
