Hello!,
I've been looking for a camera to use with my Teradek Cube 220 (I've just left my previous job, an no longer have their cameras at my disposal) for live streaming of events.
I see the sony HVR-HD1000s pop up on eBay fairly frequently, and they're usually in my price range, So I like the looks of it, but I have a few questions first.
1) what is the difference between the HVR-HD10000, and the HVR-HD1000U/E/P?
2) how bad is the interlacing from 1080i?
3) has anyone used one of these with a 35mm adapter and rails? how awkward is this?
4) how do these cameras perform in uncontrolled environments? (Sports/Conferences/Run and gun interviews/Low light and high motion?)
5)finally I just saw something on the sony website about down-converted HDMI and Firewire outputs, is this true!? because that would make it pretty much worthless to me. For that matter has anyone captured HDMI from this camera and is it clean and useable?
Thanks!!
