    Hey all,

I was hoping to get some help. I have been trying to fix this for the last 4 hours and would love some assistance getting my sennheiser ew 100 g3 wireless lav working again.

The issue is the transmitter won't read any levels from the mic.

-The receiver and transmitter are on the same frequency and have been synced successfully.
-I have tried several resets on both the transmitter and the receiver.
-I am able to use my shotgun mic fine and get levels on my AF100 so it's not the camera.
-I have a solid RF bar on the receiver.

I am going to be trying a different mic tomorrow because there is functionality to the transmitter and the receiver. It just seems like the mic might be busted. The mic was tested a few weeks ago and stored in a pelican case. No recent damage.

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

Not sure, but as soon as you said shotgun, the alarm went off. Most shotguns require (phantom) power to operate. Usually this is supplied by the cam or mixer. A G3 does not supply power to the mic. There are a couple of shotguns that have battery power for such circumstances, such as the AT897, and the Rode NTG-2.
