I haven't used my mint SG Blade since the HDSLR craze hit. I need to get rid of it (money would be nice but mostly sick of moving it around my basement). Is anyone using these anymore, is there a market for them?
I have one down in the marketplace and I suspect that it's a white elephant. If there's no market I'll remove it. What the hell should I do with it, assuming no one uses them anymore? I'd really hate to pitch it in the trash![]()

I still use um on occasion, I picked up a complete blade setup including rails and mount plus a couple rotrazors for 250.00. Im sure it's not what you want to hear. I have a few students that might be interested, whats your asking price??
I still like the look for certain things, but if you dant have a need, or camera to connect it to, then I can see your point in getting rid of it. You may also sell it on ebay.

Pop it on ebay. There's a glut of older redrocks that don't move much but everything else seems to sell. SGBlade's don't appear very often so someone who's looking out for one will snap it right up. Don't expect to get what you paid for it but if it's in good condition and you don't ask for a ridiculous price it should sell quickly.

Thanks. It sounds like I'm expecting too much at $500. It's down in the marketplace and I'll certainly entertain any offer sent via PM.
I'd rather sell to someone here who presumably knows what it does, rather than entertain dozens of questions on the 'Bay!

If you have the complete package put it on ebay with a starting bid $350 with a 10 day auction and you may get over $500 if you get two people bidding against each other. Of the three I've seen on ebay in the last 6 months, two sold for more than $500 (complete package). If you have the adapter only expect $250 at best.

Hi,
We do get a few emails asking for an SGblade (it's now been discontinued), if you put it on EBay, email me the link and I'll send it to anyone interested.

I still have one, not an SGblade, but a spinning adapter with a few GG spare. I won't get rid of it at any cost. I like the look of it, provided one that would use it would be ready to accept the extra work that it requires. But there's nothing like that look compared to DSLR, the first one being less "sterile" lookin'.
That being said, for the price you've paid vs the price you could get for it, I'd rather keep it. Never know: FD lenses were selling for peanuts before the GH cameras came! Now the price are a little up because people want them! Never know!
