I need to grab an adapter to start using our existing glass. Would something like this do alright...

If you have found the perfect adapter worthy of nice glass, let me know. Also curious how you deal with the weight... New mounting brackets with lens stabilization?

I think the best adapter right now is the Redrock Micro Live Lens. It gives you electronic control of the aperture, though not much else. And it's kind of pricey. But if I was going to use a lot of EOS glass on a m4/3 camera, it would be the adapter I would pick.

Does that adapter require an outside power source? Redrock makes great gear and I've got that jotted down now. Controlling the aperture is a great feature. L glass is expensive so I really don't mind spending the money to get the best adapter possible.

You can either power it via a DC connector, or with a 9-volt battery. The Live Lens comes with a small case that houses the battery. It tends to hang off the unit, but nothing that some velcro wouldn't seem to fix. So you have two options.
