Hey guys, the last half of my .mov files filmed of a live event are crazy once imported into CS5.5. The video plays fine at normal speed but the audio is twice as fast leaving no audio signal whatsoever for the last half of the clip. Has anyone experienced this, what is the fix?
I tried reimporting the files both into the project and to a new project with the same problem. I also tried replacing the footage after renaming the file and tried slowing the speed down but it sounds like audio in slo mo. The source file plays fine in Windows media Player so I know the correct information is there. I figured out a work around for now. I imported the files into audition and exported the audio from there and then imported the new audio file into PREMIERE to sync with the video. But, what a pain in the butt. Would love to know what is going on so I don't have to do this in the future. 2 weeks out from upgrading to CS6.
What am I missing here?
Thanks much for the help.

What's the bitrate of the audio? The framerate? The codec?
