My DV Terminal on my AG-DVX100B seems to be having trouble receiving a connection to Final Cut Pro X and iMovie. I have the right FireWire (Belkin 800/400 9-Pin Cable), but what seems to be the problem is how loose the DV Terminal is when receiving the cord. I have a feeling this is what infringes on the connection. Considering I was able to get a connection with a old High 8 Digital Camcorder; I am pretty sure it is not the cable that is the issue. Where would I go to repair the DV Terminal in Southern California Area? Estimated costs? And is there a possible other thing I can try to see what the problem is? It was on the right setting to get a connection, so I am not quite sure what to do at this point. Any suggestions, advice would be much appreciated.
