We are trying to shoot the LCD monitors of the Nikon D800 and Canon 5D mkIII but the HPX170 will not pick up the LCD monitors of these two cameras. It will pick up the monitors of other cameras (d90, d700, t2i, etc) but not these two. The 5d will pick up the LCD of the D800 fine and vice versa. Does anyone out there know the HPX170 will not pick up these monitors? Is it a setting that I've missed? Even my iphone picks up the screens fine.

Ok, I'm embarrassed. I went and got a circular polarizer and to my suprize the camera already had one on and it was turned the wrong way! It was a late night. Thank you, problem solved.
