Need some help with a basic problem, Just got a Panasonic AC160 2 weeks ago, love the cam so far. However I have been attempting to shoot in 1080/60P with the LPCM audio. I can hear the audio on playback in the cam, and it's fine.

However....wjhen I import the clips into Premiere Pro CS5.5, there is no audio track! It an't there. Now I have recorded a lot in 1080/60i and the LPCM audio and all is peechie keen. but when using both together, I do not even see the audio track. I am careful when setting up the project in Premiere to select
    AVCHD
    1080/60P

    What am I missing?

How does Premiere detail the source files in its bin? Does it list the audio specs?

No it does not. It does not indicate that any audio file is present. However, te audio does play back in the cam. It's there and sounds just fine, but when dumped into Premiere i is not visible.

1080p/60 was finalized after CS5.5, so it's possible you might need to upgrade to CS6 for this to work.

Is the audio there when you play the file in a media player on the PC? You might have to extract the audio some other way and then link them back to the video in premiere.
