LoL. Seems that even when I stop participating on the forum in general (especially tech discussions), I'm still participating.
Said it once, say it again: I don't really care what an audience thinks. I choose to shoot on what I feel comfortable with, so happens that they're also typically the tools that produce the best images. xDDD

I am enjoying reading everyone's predictions on which camera is which. I also think that camera B is viewed to be good, because you can simply see faces and detail in the shadows where others you can not. Because the scene had such a purposfully difficult set to deal with, when you see an even light you view that to be good. If this were a different shot where you didn't need detail in the shadows I think everyone's opinion might change regarding how even the light is, BUT you have to remember that it is an establishing style of shot, that follows an actor through a room. If you cannot see his face or others faces as he passes them, you perceive that to be underexposed and therefore bad.
Again I am speaking to the mindset of those that liked camera B.
I wonder what everyone will say when they find out that B is the Epic. I will have a good laugh if that turns out to be the case. The DP spoke about using HDRx and spoke about pumping in more light to deal with detail in the shadows. I don't know why everyone who thinks the GL2 is camera B forgot that part.
For what it's worth I remember liking B because of the contrast to A [being able to see the set] and at the time there were only two shots to compare. I also liked C, H and A was decent too.

B is the winner of the nofilmschool.com poll. I still don't like it.

Thank god for Haskell Wexler. You could delete all the other pat responses to the subject headings and just leave his in as the definitive word.
