Hi everyone.
With all the talk about rolling shutter and various CMOS issues that 3MOS cameras have when it comes to fast action video, how good can these inexpensive POV cameras (GOPRO, etc) be since they are MOS and they are frequently used for applications like action/automotive/sports where CMOS proves problematic?
I mean they seem to be produced and marketed for the action applications where MOS has problems.
And how well do these POV cameras intercut with Panasonic camera footage?

If the gopro is locked down solid or well-stabilized the effects of rolling shutter can be minimal. The rolling shutter can be really bad if the cam isn't mounted well and vibrations get to the cam. I match it with panny hpx170, hvx200a's and I've been very pleased... I do look forward to the protune firmware so I can match 24p.

Thank u.
I'm wanting to get some hd pov cameras to replace my sd ccd pov cameras that have served me well...
Mounting them to poles for cheap jib shots and also to vehicles.
