Activation (Optional) Firmware V 1.23

Is anyone tried to retrieve the activation codes for the optional paid option upgrade. I uploaded the requested file from product serial #. but can get the requested activation code on PASS??
Any clues??

Never mind I found this out the activation code is not available until June 30, this is a backward delivery. Why does Pana send you an email for the upgrade when they can deliver the whole package. Someone let the carriage out on display with no horses to pull it.

Someone just needs to make a activation keygen and we will have an early release for free LOL

Looks to me like there are a few updates; one to allow for the new software key....and one to improve audio out via HDMI.

I'm not sure of the exact mechanics on this, but the firmware update merely preps the camera for the SFU100 update (plus does the HDMI bit, and corrects the 2.39 aspect markers). That update is up for pre-order via resellers like B&H but won't be available until June 30th.

I realised that eventually, once I got searching for the answer (Pana missed to inform within the current first part of the update by email for HDMI & Sound that the second part of the update (optional) aspect marker correction 2.39 & 1080 50/60p is only available from June 30. I guess something got "lost on translation" on their email. Anyway we all shall wait patiently "grasshopper"
