The MKIII is 2+ stops better in low light so 5000 ISO has about the same noise as 1250 ISO on the MKII. There are some slight colour differences.

thanks guys, i think i will be using the 5d mk3 mostly for wide shots and lens set at F4 and 5D2 for tighter shots with F2.8 which moires will not likely to be a problem
OH and 5D mk3 seem to cut out the noise in some extreme dark and black areas
and 5d2 will still record noise in extreme dark and black areas

under the same 3.3k Incandescent light bulb with Canon 24-70 F2.8
5d mk2 has a slight red cast
5d mk3 has a slight green cast

Every individual camera will have its own colour bias. It just ships from the factory like that. If you put two Mk2s side-by-side, you might well notice the same sort of difference.
The ideal way is to separately colour adjust each camera. There's WB Shift in... in some menu (don't know which).
Good article by Shane Hurlbut on how: http://cinematography.wonderhowto.co...t-asc-0116252/
