Hey folks,
After watching this video, https://vimeo.com/39171656 , I decided to really buy GH2 even if it's old. When I search it 2 years ago, there were GH2 models that are not hackable. I've been so away so I am not sure what the latest update on GH2 is. I would like to have a GH2 with the same video quality as from the link I posted.
Please let me know what GH2 model I should buy.
I'm disappointed with my Canon 50D's magic lantern video. Video quality is ok, has a lot of moire but colors is very warm which I love.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Neil

What you are referring to are unhackable GH1s, but thsoe too are now hackable. The GH2 hack covers all of them. There are no GH2s that can not be hacked.

Oh, that is awesome news! I've been in the cave too long.

Am I right that all I have to do is buy the GH2, buy a great lens then hack it? I don't need to purchase other hardware?
I'll sell my Panasonic TM700 so I can get some funds out of it. Should I buy it from Amazon or Ebay or B&H?
Thanks a lot!!!

Also, I just thought I should just buy the GH2 body for now. I'll use my existing lenses first. I'll just buy an EOS to M42 adapter. That will work right?
My existing lenses are
Super Takumar 50mm 1.4 m42
Canon 70-200 f/4L
Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6
and Tamron 17-50mm f2.8

Your lens collection is good - go with it and an adapter.
I would recommend B&H for better customer service, reputation, and lower (if not free) shipping.
