I will need to do some color correction in the near future as I wrap up my editing. I'm working on the Vegas Pro 9.0e. I was wondering has anyone had good luck with using Vegas Pro to do color correction or do they use a different software? If you are using Vegas which setting seems to work the best for you (color corrector, 'secondary', color curves etc...?). Thanks

Vegas's color tools are as good as any other NLEs.
Which ones work best depend on what you want to do.

On my last film, I exported my Vegas Pro timeline as an EDL and brought it into After Effects so I could use Colorista. It was a seamless transition from Vegas to AE using a Vegas import script that someone shared with me

Sony Vegas is excellent for colour correction but takes some time to learn - as it does anywhere or with any programme. You might like to have a look at the video tutorials available for viewing on the Sony Creative Software forum.

I always use Vegas to correct. Didn't think my last film was too bad (I'm no pro): http://vimeo.com/25270591
