    thanks
I actually received mine yesterday and commented in THIS thread about it

Also, FYI, the H056 and H005 are the same montiors. One originally came out with no focus peaking while the other did. But there was a firmware upgrade and now both models have the same exact specs....with focus peaking. Mine is the H056.

I think the firmware upgrade also tried to tackle the "stretched" image issue. But it seems like it resulted into a "windowed" image (as I explained in the other thread) which cut off some of the image around the edges.

Anyone who has the Camax 5.6" 1280*800 monitor please let me know the following:
    1) With the T2i/T3i does it rescale the image to fit the screen? And if so, I snappy is this rescaling? (i.e. the Manhattan LCD resizes the image very fast)
    2) Is the screen shiny or matte?
    3) What kind of picture adjustments can you make to the screen (i.e. brightness, contrast, sharpness, color tone...etc)

Can you post a sample on youtube?

Nevermind, all I had to do was go into the color settings and put Saturation above 50 to get color.

OK there is a huge bug with this monitor, using my T2i and T3i, the monitor defaults to outputting a black and white image after every boot. Turn the camera on and off or the monitor on and off and the monitor goes back to black and white until I move the Saturation setting up or down.

    So annoying.

The problem with the T2i/T3i etc is it does not output in an hd signal. I'm currently switching to a Gh2 and not looking back. I remember using a monitor on a Gh2 and a t2i + 60d and you can't even compare as the gh2 outputs a nicer signal.

That should have nothing to do with the color being output as black and white. I own other LCD's and they all maintain color from the T2i/T3i.

    Here is the bug:

The manufacturer has confirmed that some of their monitors have a bug due to software. As a result they are shipping a new one to me. Will keep you guys posted.

Here is video of the bug:

I have the same monitor, and if set to B&W or blue only using the "FUN" button, changing the saturation immediately pops it back to colour. Are you sure you're not set to the B&W mode?
