I've been using the JVC 700 for 3 years and the AF100 this year. Mainly motorsports. On some shoots the shoulder mount is ideal with zoom ergo etc. In other situations the AF100 with a 14mm lens is nice for run and gun as its small etc. Swap a lens and you can get some nice intimate DOF shots etc. But lately I have been looking at used HPX500's as they have come down in price used and some are in good shape. For sure half the price of the new HPX 600 and for some good reasons. For motorsports though, the 2/3" CCD is KEY for me.
