Same here -- updated my HPX250P a short time ago and enabled Red Focus. I've played with the Push Auto a little but can't really tell if it is any faster than before.

Use the new update fora shoot today...and i love Red Focus...so easy to focus with...thanks Panasonic.

Let's try to do something with the capacity to have LCD + EVF + HD-SDI in the same time now...

I wish those .pdf files were not password protected so I could save them to my harddrive.....doh...

Also the P2status logger. Whats the sense? Did anybody go through these hoops?

No, I didn't bother to use the P2Status logger, I just did the update the same way I have done them in the past with my HVX200. For what it is worth, I was able to save the PDF files locally, I right-clicked on the links using Internet Explorer 9 and used Save As.

I used Red Focus last night for a rehearsal I was recording and discovered one slightly annoying property -- if you switch to playback mode to review a clip, Red Focus turns off, so you need to manually re-enable it by pressing Focus Assist again. Not a big deal, but it would be better if it stayed enabled.

I had the same issue with downloading I use a Mac. I used Firefox and it worked fine, Sarfi wouldn't do it.

Downloaded the software and upgraded without any hassle at all. Having said that I have no idea what P2 Logger is all about - did not bother with that part of the process. The Red feature is excellent. The HPX250 really is a superb camera. Been shooting the last few days in all situations, the pictures look really nice.
