Need Help to Repair Card

My DP was shooting for me with an AF-100. In the middle of a take the battery went dead. It looks like the footage is there (I can play it back in camera) but it will not transcode into Final Cut Pro 7. When I try I get the error message "contains unsupported media or has an invalid directory structure. Please choose a folder whose directory structure matches supported media." What do I do? I notice SanDisk offers "SanDisk Rescue Pro" File Recovery Utility - has anyone tried this? (I don't know whether it's relevant or not, but the card is question is a SanDisk.) Any other suggestions? TIA, and yes, I have searched the Forum and found no answers.

Try transcoding another way. ClipWrap is a good option, & doesn't need the complete file structure, just the .mts

If you can play it in camera, have you tried copying the clip to another card?

I had some trouble with sd cards with my gh2 a few weeks ago. I had run till the battery went down and lost the last file. I looked everywhere and tried quite a few data recovery apps. just when i had given up, i found that panasonic had some sd recovery software. it was 2 apps, one to recover and one to rebuild the file structure...here is the link:

Try to import directly .MTS files into Final Cut Pro (make sure that the MTS importer component is installed. Or get it from here: https://eww.pass.panasonic.co.jp/pro...d.htm#avccamip )

If it doesn't work, your unplayable AVCHD footage can be recovered using a movie repair service.
