Then you should check out my kids sci-fi script, 'Grand Theft UFO'. Not sure why I'm plugging a script.

I was wondering how long it would take Keaton to plug his script. I think I had Post # 11 in the pool.

    Back on topic:

    ET
    Close Encounters
    Signs
    The Thing
    Alien & Aliens
    Predator
    too many to mention...

    Alien(s)
HHGttG (sure the books are way better, but there's still some pretty hilarious movie alien species)
    Galaxy Quest (guilty pleasure)

    Prometheus.

Nah, Alien tops my list. Probably followed by District 9. I think Prometheus is gonna replace D9, though, for a tight second to Alien. I thought Aliens was a pretty good movie, but I saw it before Alien, and frankly it just doesn't compare. Maybe #6 or 7 on my list, idk.

    Some great ones mentioned already.

    I'd add:

    Critters

    The Abyss

and my absolute favorite, The Iron Giant.

Everyone seems to be missing The Cat from Outer Space.

+1 on both of these, too:
