Hey everyone! I was curious how everyone deletes video files from theirmemory cards? I always just reformatted the card. But now I just loaded V2 onmy camera and if I do that I lose all my saved PPs. I was just wondering what everyone’sprocedure is for removing/clearing a memory card with V2? Thanks!!

I simply use one of my very old SD cards (256MB) to store the camera settings. But if I'm at home and I have the time I'll copy the settings to all SD cards.

Too much hassle. I have just one card (mission-critical recording all go to the nanoFlash, anyway), and when I dump it to my PC, I simply delete the STREAM contents. Upon insertion to the camera, it asks to do some housekeeping (resetting indexes, metadata etc) and it's ready for recording - no format necessary.
But this is a serious omission from Sony, nevertheless...Piotr Wozniacki

Hi Guys ,
I have another issue with the PP app.
I loaded 4 custom PP and left PP 5 and 6 to the default PP
Now when I change to PP5 or 6 it remains at PP 4 . After resetting PP 5 or 6 it still remains on PP 4 . I can still choose to go back to PP 1-4 .
I find the app very usefull but needs some work as mentioned before when I save the PP it resets the camera to the german language and 30p recording.
Any usefull tips anyone ?
Thanks

Hey Frank, with GlenColor 2.0 with did you makes changes to this for the firmware? I just want to make sure I direct people to those settings that you posted before the firmware came out. I did an 11 hour shoot this weekend with your settings and they were absolutely AWESOME. You've tamed the red issue and, compared to the 7D that was on the shoot, we both agreed, the color reproduction was just spot on.
If you did change it, I want to use the old settings because now that I've got a lot of experience with them, with the new firmware, it has made me not want a new camera AT ALL. So again, thanks!!formerly know as grimepoch.

I've been trying a lot of different PP's. Still a bit crazy with using them, even with V.2 firmware.
Because I'm on a Mac, I can't use the program in this thread and have to manually enter the values.
And then, when I save them on a memory card, if I then dump the card and reformat in camera, all the
saved PP's are wiped out (as referenced above). Anyways, here's a PP that I have been using lately...
it's what I would call an 'outdoor' PP. It's got a lot of settings from Frank and other's who have generously
shared and I just tweaked things a little based on what I was seeing. Anyways, just thought I'd throw it
up on this thread.

sorry for my english, may i ask some stupid questions about this program?
first, thank for the people who put efforts to make this program.
this program shall be terrific , but i have been working whole day to find out how to use this program..
can i ask step by step?
before i open this program, shall i connect the FS100 body direct through a usb line? or shall i take out the SD card alone in a SD card reader then connect to pc?
i have try both ways to conncet to pc, then, do i need to enter the camera body menu creat a new profile,01, 02,03,etc first, then, changing some value in the program?
why i change some pp files value through this program, then i open up in the FS100 body to check, and it just didn't change anything? i must be something wrong to use this.
i copy the "xx.pp, CAMProxx.dat, " everything into the SD card, g:MSCONY/SETTING/FS100NN/XXX, then, input my sd card back to fs100, it still didn't see anything change?
in this program, there is " Setting" on the left above corner, according the producer: "Setting: camera setting number", it means the new profile we created and saved in the SD " CAMPROXX.DAT"?
If there is a video of intrustction , that will be very nice~
how shall i use this program? i must be somthing wrong,
any advice will be appreciate~
thanks

Sorry for my late reply, I didn't read the postings about my little application.
You are right (most or all time). There is no handbook, no good description and no instruction video. This makes
it difficult to understand how it really works. I made an updated version, which makes some things better.
Here are the links again:
The application (WinXP SP2 .. Win7)
http://www.mhst.de/downloads/CamProNexFs100.zip
You also need the runtime engine
http://www.mhst.de/downloads/LV2011SP1RTEmin.zip
and here are some more optinal picture profiles (more or less useful)
http://www.mhst.de/downloads/NexFs100-PP.zip
There are a lot of camera settings in the CAMPRO files (shutter, WB, language(?) etc.). After installation you should change the application to your preferred settings:
- change your camera to your preferred settings, and save these camera settings on the SD card (CAMPROxx.DAT file).
- open this file in the application (Ctrl+O) and press the small button "use as default"). The application copies the settings to a new name (DEFAULT.DAT) and location. If you press the button "default path" you can see the exact location of this file.
If you press the "New" (Ctrl+N) button, the application loads these (your preferred) settings.
Press Ctrl+H and a small help window appears. For example: if you move the mouse over "Red" control (Color Depth) you see some instructions for this control element.
The options "Update all setting files" and "Auto save picture profiles" may be helpful to take care that all files are allways matching to your last changes.
You can add a description to each camera settings file, but these information are stored outside of the CAMPRO files.
You can add a description to each picture profile - use the first line of the description for the name of the picture profile.
I have a copy of all the profiles and camera setting files on my local hard disc.
Last but not least - if you have your own profiles: Copy the CAMPRO files to your local hard disc. Open one after each other into the application and save the picture profiles with the "SavePP" button (Ctrl+P) into the same folder.
... an instruction video may follow ...
