    Hi Eric,
Just wondering if there was a reason that yourself/distributor went with a more modern looking dvd cover rather than having the dvd cover look similar to the '70's' looking poster?
    cheers

It wasn't our decision. The distributor made us do it because they had another film with an illustrated poster that didn't perform well so they wanted to change it. I'm fighting to get it on the Blu-Ray though

Congrats on all the success with this one.

Fantastic to see more dvxuser films making it into serious distribution.

Wow Eric - congratulations, and thanks for being so open, honest, and sharing about the process!

I was just reading your blog. It is sad that you have to put up with some of the BS! Maybe you can sic Anonymous/4Chan on the haters.

I just wanted to tell you to trust yourself, have fun, enjoy each day - you are really kicking! I always pushed myself too hard - nothing I ever did was good enough for me at the time. I never really enjoyed my sucesses.

Now I am off of work - disabled with chronic pain - 4 bad disks in my neck, 3 in my low back, torn shoulder. I am in my early 50's, and I never expected this. I was always used to just doing what I needed to do, learning, evolving, using those skills that I so took for granted ..

I live vicariously now, and I am very, very happy for you! Savor it buddy. Really. Do your work, follow your heart. There are sure to be ups and downs. But don't push off celebrating until you have "made it", because it is never quite enough ...

Cheers! Keep going and have fun!

    Best,
    Michael

It's at my Redbox. I wish I had known, because I would've checked it out today. I see this all the time, but forgot it was made by a DVXer.

I don't usually go for these kinds of films. I like the supernatural horror, BUT this looks and feel very professional. This could've played on the big screen. The characters were interesting and well developed much more than your average DTV film and I like all of the characters. They still split up in situations where one wouldn't, but that's just part of the genre I guess. I always have to remember characters don't know they're in a horror film. It was interesting and I enjoyed it. But they have to go back. They can't just let it end like that. I would watch a sequel to this if they go back. I love what you did with the road BTW how he came about the decision to do what they did.

Based on the trailer the movie seems professional. Well done! I'm going to check out the movie as soon as possible.
