ZF mount

Hi

I am wondering about Blackmagic Cinema Camera. Is it a new user required for the BMC user forum?

And also, what's ZF mount? what lenses can those be mounted ??

It is a Nikon F mount.

I think "ZF mount" was a typo, they meant ZE, and the camera only has Canon EF mount so far - I'm not sure, though: too much noise around the BMC announcement

So, EF is canon eos mount and ze is carl zeiss' canon eos mount??

Yes. ZE is Zeiss Canon mount. I would get the Nikon ZF mount because it has a manual aperture ring (unlike the electronic ZE). Then you just get an adaptor and you can pretty much use it on any system, unlike the ZE. Or at least that's what I do.

Nikon ZF mount? I couldnt find that info on the net so far. What is it? So, Nikon ZF mount adapter on ZE mount? will allow Nikon lenses on BMC ?

ZF is not a type of mount. It's a Zeiss "Z" series lens in Nikon F mount -- hence, "ZF". And ZE isn't a type of mount either, it's a Zeiss "Z" series lens in a Canon Ef mount, so ZE. Just like ZS isn't a type of mount, it's a Z series lens in a pentax Screwmount mount.
