Well... DVXusers have known that Mac and Zak were filmmaking geniuses for years - but it's nice to see that Warner Bros agrees!

Congrats Mac!Warner Bros. buys 'Law Zero' pitch
Futuristic actioner acquired from Bruno Zacarias and Miguel de Olaso
Warner Bros. has pre-emptively acquired a futuristic action pitch titled "Law Zero" from Bruno Zacarias and Miguel "Macgregor" de Olaso, who make films under the name Zac&Mac. Roy Lee is set to produce the project.
Pitch, which included a teaser trailer and outline, is the first the directing duo have sold, and plot details remain under wraps.
Macgregor is a former cinematographer and post-supervisor, which Zacarias is an ex-advertising copywriter who segued into screenwriting and then directing.
Duo met seven years and have since made several short films together, including "Similo," a sci-fi romance about an artificial person designed to be the perfect lover. Other shorts such as "18 Seconds" and "UYUNI" have won more than 30 awards on the film festival circuit.
Zacarias and Macgregor are repped by UTA and Mosaic.
It was difficult to resist just writing "MACGREGOR MAKE AWESOME" for the headline. But seriously... yay. Nice to see you and Zac's extremely hard work starting to pay dividends. All the best with getting your projects to the next stage with awesome swift crushing audio-visual power.

Kind of awe-inspiring news here. It's crazy that, when I came to this site the first year in 2005, macgregor's work was some of the stuff that shocked me into thinking I could do this for a living. In 2006, during DVXFest, Similo blew my mind. You could see that this dude had what it takes.
He and Zak (mac and Zak haha) make a great team, and I'm proud to even be in the vicinity of this success.
Can't wait to see what comes of this, but I'm not concerned in the least about the quality of it.
Good show, dudes.
P.S. If anyone here wants to see more of mac's fest work, he's got an entries he shot for longtime user Jack Daniel Stanley and his own in later fests.
And of course, a whole slew of award-winnin' content around the interwebs.

Couldn't happen to a nicer guy. Had the pleasure of working with Mac on our "Lighting For Film & Television" DVD. Guy can do amazing work with minimal equipment. Well done, Mac!
