Ok so I'm shooting a "top secret" film coming up soon and need some very large lighting rigs.... Shooting with the F3
Question is does anyone know where to rent large 10K balloon lighting rigs that are either hanging or helium filled for New York?
Also would 1 10K be enough to light up a road space of about 30' x 60' I did the math and it should be fine, but wanted to hear if anyone else did this rig.
I'm rating putting max 6db gain on the F3 but it should be fine at 3db.
Any thoughts?

Most balloon lights are HMI so they will be 6k, 12k.

I have used a 4K tungsten balloon.
Aside from the light rental it will cost around $100 to fill with Helium.David W. Jones
