What name would you call this camera by?

Amidst the well deserved excitement, I do find typing out BlackMagic Design Cinema Camera' in Google rather cumbersome. It's also too long when I speak it out (perhaps I'm lazy). But people adapt, and I now see numerous names that have cropped up (pun intended) in various forums for this camera:

Black Magic Design Cinema Camera
Black Magic Cinema Camera
Magic Cam
BMDC Camera
BMC Camera
BMC

I hope the world eventually sticks to one name! An AF100 is easy to say out aloud or even type, as is FS100.

Maybe MAGIC CAM will stick!

Well, on their website they're calling it the Blackmagic Cinema Camera. I've been referring to it as the Blackmagic Camera, or BMCC for short.

BMC works for me. Black Magic Camera. Feel like three syllables works better than four.

Magic Cam has a nice ring to it.

If it lives up to its billing, it really will be a magic cam.

Anything which doesn't have "BM" all by itself in the name! For those who might not know that is a reference in some (not sure how many) of the English speaking countries to a bowel movement.

Another thing is some folk for superstitious/religious reasons don't like the words "Black Magic" or even "Magic" for that matter.

I actually prefer MBDCC or MBDC myself since it includes the "D" for designs which I like.

And I agree with Isaac, three syllables just sounds right.
