Wish I had time to investigate this! I will next week but this weekend has been over
24 hours so far filming...not with my FS100 either
If someone gets a chance film a person! Red is not going to lie in regard to skin tones
that's for sure. And if you got a DSLR laying around snap a picture in the same conditions.
Might make for a good comparison, not completely scientific but perhaps a good base.

Just been for a quick outdoor test with this profile in Henley-on-Thames in the UK (2.0 firmware, 18-200 Kit lens, 25p, all footage direct from camera)...

My bad, sorry guys.
You start at Zero and then you dial it in to suit your shot , as legrevedotcom said.
There are articles and sites on my blog and the new profiles are an article first and than became a site.
I got it mixed up by copy and paste several profiles around. Just fixed it.
Actually those PPs are obsolete after the update and I have to figure out new ones.

Is there any word from Sony about what they have done with the image processing with the firmware update?

No official word as far as I know. The product manager said he asks about it and let me know.

The people around me don't want to be filmed, ha ha! even the dog's sometimes run away! But from looking at Kyle's footage the skin tones seem to be alright!
Definitely cannot wait to see what profiles you come up with Frank.

No one at the office today, this is me with a old guitar i keep around...
i used Liam's profile for these, v2 update, Angenieux 28-70, spot metered off a grey card, 500ISO, the windows behind me are f22, the wall behind me is f0.071, i metered the highlight side of my face at f4... so that's what i went with for exposure
screen shot 1 is black @ +10
screen shot 2 is black @ 0
screen shot 3 is black @ -5
on scopes the -5 is the clear winner, on my camera it looked the worst... in the suite it's the most flexiable by a long shot...
