Looking on critiques and opinions on my unconventional wedding film. Took a different direction when editing the piece (guns n roses as a soundtrack to the ceremony). In all, I wanted to make this a more fun and enjoyable watch for the audience. I wanted to avoid the classical and traditional approach (because at times those type of films bore me). Looking to see what other video pros think of it.
Back story: I had to drive directly from out of town to shoot this wedding and literally showed up 25 min before the ceremony started. This was a last minute gig and I didn't even meet the couple prior to the ceremony because they lived too far. Also, we almost quit halfway through the evening because the groom gave us the wrong address for the reception (so we missed the entourage entrance into the art museum). Also for the audio I had no lav gear and the echoes in the church was so bad I totally cut the audio of the vows altogether (couple didn't have a problem with that).
Enjoy!
