Feature shot on hacked GH2

Here's the first teaser for a feature I'm just wrapping up DPing on the hacked GH2 (with the Quantum V100 patch). Shot with a bare bones crew, sometimes down to just actors, a sound mixer, and myself. Lighting is primarily practicals and LED panels, and 99% of the film is shot on the Tokina 11-16, Voightlander 25, rokinon 35, and Sigma 50.

Most of the teaser is ungraded or just passed over quickly, and sound is still all over the place. We just wanted to put something together to raise some more funds for post and to get more of a birds eye view of how everything is shaping up.

Looks great. What was your camera rig for the GH2 ?

Thanks for the comments! I shot about two thirds of the film on a combination of a Gini shoulder rig, sticks, a monopod, slider, Kessler jib and shuttle pod, and Glidecam rigs. About a third was actually shot with the bare camera (using the viewfinder), but only with the Tokina or occasionally the voightlander 25. It's possible to get useable footage if you can control your bounce as you walk (I knew years of marching band would someday come in handy) and spend time practicing.

I really love the image that the GH2 puts out, but I'm going to shoot my next project on the C300 because of the increased dynamic range, the ability to use the fantastic 70-200 IS II w/ stabilization, the great codec and post workflow, and better highlight handling. The GH2 is still the camera I own that I'll reach to first over the 5DmkII and 7D, and is good enough that I can wait a few product cycles before upgrading.
