There are some additional press photos here (official site photo gallery isn't working for me right now):

There are some of the back - which sadly seems to confirm total lack of genlock and timecode.
Again... 3D rigs need small, light cameras. It is idiotic for Sony to only put genlock / 3D sync on their (heavier, larger) F3 and not their (lighter, smaller) FS100... and it's even more idiotic that they don't have it on this cam.
Gnash teeth!

Everything about it just seems so unjustified and ridiculous, I won't believe it until I have one in my hands.

When a $1k NEX7 in a 1/4pound package does 1080 60 why would an $8k 2pound camera not do 4k
Look at stills - a $500 DSLR now challenges a $30k digiback from 2005
Its called progress
I think sony are looking at the 4k picture - they will then sell a (hundred?) million more TV screens to punters - they want 4k to be the buzzword with consumers...

Itīs true!
Iīm shooting (not with the FS700 - itīs sadly back to Sony) till tomorrow, but after that, I will do a review on my blog.
All I can say now, the FS700 is awesome. Started to save my pennies. ;-)
I had a blast, shooting with it.
The slow-mo knocked me out of my socks.
One of the 4 new cinegama curves is dammed close to my G-LOG.
The full metal handle, ND filters better grip and all is what a lot of folks wanted.
You can touch the screen and get focus on that point, or you can set two point and do automatic rack focus like on the Epic.
There is a ton of very nice features.
Wish I had more time to play with her though.
