For some reason cinema tools can't seem to do anything with my MKiii footage. It'll open up the clip, but the conform button is grayed out. Any idea how to fix this or another way to conform 60 fps to 24 fps?

I just tested some 60fps footage shot on th mk3 and I was able to conform to 24p in cinema tools... Maybe reboot? Can u trash the prefs in cinema tools like you can with FCP?

Well, I tried changing it to prores and that worked, but it doesnt seem like I should have to do that. On another note, I bought the kit 24-105 and have noticed that it doesn't keep a constant aperture when I zoom, is this a glitch with the camera or something? Has Canon said anything about it?

That's how that lens is. I think it's a 2.8 wide and a 4 or 5.6 when zoomed in.

It should be a straight f.4
Mine stays constant.
Oh and I like it for the IS but use my 24-70 more often.
