    I remember some known filmmaker doing another April Fools thing last year or year before.
    Everyone went all GrapeApe for nothing. But...this kind of camera is definitely coming, if not on Monday, in 2012 or 2013.

    Keep in mind that it's 4K "READY' not out of the box or maybe not even this year.

    "The first 4K-ready Super35mm camcorder in its class – providing an assured upgrade path to 4K acquisition and delivery - with full HD 1080p for today"

    For now, enjoy your 1080p....But the interesting part is that it's upgradeable and will even include 4K RAW: The camcorder will also have the capability to produce 4K RAW 3G-SDI output via a future upgrade.

    So, what will the upgrade cost. Then you will need the recorder as well. Still E-mount. Do they have 4k lenses in R&D as we speak????

    But it looks like a solid future proof investment. Hey RED, somebody be knockin at your door. LOL!
