I'd appreciate learning what smallHD has up their sleeve . . . Something's brewing.

Also, if anybody introduces a follow focus worth owning at a $500 price point.

    Thanks!

I don't see the point of external recording unless it's 10bit or more. The whole reason for going that route is to get away from 8bit land.

I would like to see if anyone has bridged an EVF with an external recorder (like the Sound Devices pix 220 or 240). Actually would be good to see what SD has up their sleeves as well.

Actually, here's what I want from the DVXUser team at NAB, and anyone else attending.

Please post discoveries in threads where we can find them. I don't know that everything new needs to go in categorized threads, but if you start a new thread, please label it in relation to the product. It seems every year NAB arrives, and it's really hard to get information, or new stuff is buried among other threads, or new threads are titled like "Incredible New Acquisition!!!" or "Panasonic Does it Again" or "Must read", etc.

So, if you find something new, make it to where we all can easily find it, if possible.

If the Admins here wish to set up a temporary sub-forum for NAB, that would be cool too.

    NAB2012 - Camera accessories - Audio - Field Mixer - 'number of primary xlr inputs' - 96K 24bit - 'make/model'
    NAB2012 - Camera accessories - Storage Media - SSD - 'make/model'
    NAB2012 - Lens - Prime/zoom - 'mount' - 'focal length' - 'make/model'
    NAB2012 - Post Production/Studio - hardware/software - 'what it does' - 'make/model'

If Sony updates the EX1R with a 50mbs, 4:2:2 codec, I'd like to see coverage on that.
