Made a short back in the day (2007) with my DVX100B. Finally got around to putting it up on YouTube. Was shot in Iquitos & Lima, Peru.

Thanks Jambredz. Regarding the YouTube quality I tried exporting various versions from FCP which look fine but once re-compressed by YouTube ended up with the version you see now. The original is 720 x 576 @ 1.6GB. Exported using QT conversion using these settings:

    640 x 350 (custom size)
    H264
    Audio: AAC 48kHz stereo & 128kbit/s VBR

The file size is 216MB and looks fine in QuickTime. Once uploaded in YouTube though and re-compressed there then that's the current version. I'm open to any suggestions to better export/compress it for YouTube.

I think it is great, really good job. I am satisfied with the quality as it is. I hate the fact that people are so hung up on HD like it makes the picture better. It is never the camera but always the operator behind the camera. Besides, if your final output is to the web you don't really need a higher quality then this unless you want it to play good on HD tV's viewing youtube or vimeo.

Very well done. If it looks this good after youtube recompression, I can imagine it looks even better before.
Great set design, great plot, funny as hell. Really enjoyed that.
