For the longest time, we've been using 720p @60p and 1080p @24p in all our shoots for cinema releases. Our company is now planning to have an HD broadcasting. Since it will be shown in HD TV.. i know it would be a big change in our workflow. Should we change our camera settings to 1080i @60i?
We'll be using Final Cut Pro for post editing. What should be the timeline settings for this? 60i, 30i, etc?
Any knowledge how HBO and Discovery channel do it?!
Thanks

Delivery requirements vary widely from channel to channel- you'd be better off deciding who you're producing for first. That said, 1080/24p is a pretty safe bet as a starting master format.
