Its been a long wait for this adapter... then a tad longer waiting for one to become available after the initial batch sold out so quickly creating a giant back order. Finally received about two weeks ago thanks to the great folks at Birns & Sawyer in CA. Initial tests and first shoot went spectacularly doing sit down interviews wide open with EF 100mm 2.8, then quickly shifted to the EF-L 24-105 4 for b-roll. Quick change easier on adapter then on FS-100. Have a good amount of EF & EF compatible lenses this brings it all together for me. Only initial negative I would have at this time is the connection that I am guessing would be used for PC connecting & software updates, its not anything I have ever seen before, not standard USB micro or mini. Hope this does not mean it has to go back to mfg for any possible future updates to whatever little computer might be inside. Aside from that works fantastic in controlling the iris. Auto-focus of course does not function but I would never shot with auto-focus anyway so not an issue for me. In summary, great adapter to get at a relative bargain compared to other options aside from the fotodiox "dumb" adapter that are great for full manual lenses.

Sony NEX FS100, Metabones smart adapter, Canon EF L24-105, EF 100mm, Sigma 50mm 2.8, Rokinon 14mm 2.8, NanoFlash recorder.
