So I'm running a 2008 Mac Pro 2 x 2.8 Quad Cord Intel Xeon
With 10gb 667 mhz DDR Ram
And graphic cards:
Gt120
GTX285
However, when I do too much with my GH2 footage, such as denoise or color correction with Magic Bullet, I can no longer play my footage smoothly.
I want to know that any footage from a DSLR will playback smoothly no matter what I have done to it.
What do you guys think I should upgrade?
My ram up to 16gb?
or get a new graphics card like the quadro 4000...which I can use later when I build a PC this summer.

If you add MBL and/or Denoise you will never get smooth playback.
You already have a supported GPU card but MBL and denoise are not GPU excellerated.
The only time you get smooth playback is when you use Premiere GPU effects.Adobe Certified Expert Premiere Pro CS6
