Just wanted to pass along this information.

I am reading a lot about the Pro Duty Backdrop Support Kit. Very good reviews. Sells at Amazon, B&H.

It comes with two 2320Y LiteStands.

If you use each stand as a light stand, it can support 18 pounds and go up to 12 foot high. So you could use this set up for many things. I have always bought Manfrotto and never Photoflex. Are these a good brand. They have a warranty to them.

    A little spendy at 230.00

You can find lots of cheap things like that but they wont necessarily last a lifetime.
Back to the saying of cry once, when you buy the right stuff.... C-stands and combos are indeed lovely.

Can you send me a link of the combo stand you recommended.
It seems a lot of people like these C-Stands. Is it because they are sturdy and last longer? It looks the the base is smaller, so people would be less to trip on.
    Well, you have my attention.
Just trying to figure out the best combination. I would like something that goes up high. My basement is 8 foot, but I would like to do some outside shots around 11 to 12 foot high with green screen. So if I can get an adjustable cross beam at 10 to 12 foot.
For the C-stands themselves, I need something that can hold some weight. I will use these to support a 8 foot 2X6 slider that I made. So if each stand can support around 10 to 15 pounds, that would be great
It looks like ebay is the place to get these, or do you recommend somewhere else?
So if you get 2 heavy duty C-stands, and an adjustable cross beam, the price is getting up there past 200.

The best deals are to watch eBay for used gear.
