unsynched audio from capture?

hello. i just captured video that i shot in the 24p mode into finalcut hd. the capture settings were at 29.97 ntsc because i was not shooting advanced. i have done this many times before, but this time the audio is about 2 seconds before the image. any ideas, please help! thanks

I've had that issue recently. I don't know what caused it other than while capturing this particular tape I opened another program on the Mac. Possibly interfered with my capture?

At any rate, a quick fix might be to sync it up in a timeline then subclip it and use that as your master clip.

thanks for the response. after recapturing the same footage 3 times it is finally synched. for some reason when i was doing long captures(30 min.), this is when it would go out of synch. i did short clip it worked fine. maybe it was because i was multi-tasking w/ my computer. i will keep an eye on that next time. thanks!
