Cool to see crazy 25,600 iso. Even if it is super noisy.

Still, the lack of skew etc is pretty amazing. Wonder what they did.
Perhaps due to something called: The evolution of the technology?

    The video is horrible.
Of course it is! Somebody else filmed it!

Little comparison of detail between D800 and D800E ripped from a press conference presentation on youtube.

I disagree. It's not a bad indicator of what the D800 can do... nothing looks over or under exposed and the camera holds up nicely. I don't see any of that mushy bluey chroma noise in the shadows we'd get on the canons.

Although I don't agree with the edit choices like enabling blurry frame blending slow-mo, or shooting at 30 fps.

...shows where the photographer lacks when lighting for dslr video. Looks like a cheesy band video. D800 is doing alright by DSLR standards.

EDIT: I tend to like videos that push the limits of the camera a little, and this music video did that. The lighting was a bit harsh for dslr video. So, in the sense that as a prospective buyer I want to see the camera pushed or in a variety of conditions, this video+bts video was a success for me. But it is a subpar music video - imho.

The right pictures just has more contrast. The whites are more bright. That's a difference that an OLPF would not do.

When I said "I wonder what they did." I meant "I wonder what process they're using." And, then someone posted something saying "how".

You might need to calm down a slight bit.

    Perhaps enhanced for the press?

I said, 'supposing this BTS video was shot on Nikon D800'. Did not intend for you to think I was stating fact.

I found the Joy Ride BTS also d7000-ish looking. A side by side comparison, will most likely show some differences. This is an initial impression I get from the web videos.
