The eagle has landed. Just unpacked the 17.5 and may post some shots .... but have to travel tomorrow morning ... let's see.
First impression: Perfect. Sturdy. Smooth. De-click mechanism works very good. Mounting it feels a bit tighter than the 25er. 15mm smallest focal distance allows some nice & strange compositions.
New love affair.... and yes: Voigtlaender has introduced another reason to stay with m4/3. Panasonic should be happy with what they did.
(15 mm? I wrote 15 mm. Major typo. Still nice to focus to somewhat less than 3 cm from the front lens)

AWESOMENESS!
I was about to purchase the 25mm .95 but saw this one just came out. Any reason to really have both?
Just ordered the 17.5mm. Looks amazing...
Can't wait to put on my first lens on my newly arrived AF100!
Thanks everyone, for your thoughts and opinions.

15 mm is indeed a bit insane.... blush .... 15 cm would have been more realistic...... slightly embarrassing typo on my part.... still: it works as a near macro too and with it's characteristics and it's geometry enables to frame interesting shots... will go out hunting with it with my GH2 the next days...
On faces I think I do prefer the 25er so.
