    Hi Folks,
My client requested some information about live streaming. I will be shooting this event for future broadcast. AVC-Intra full 1080 30p. This is priority number 1. If I want to use ustream.com, what should I use to connect my camera to a mac computer?. Can I use monitor or video out bnc cable to Canopus dv110 box ( with rca adapter) firewire to my mac and use video producerpro software ... will this work? Comcast cable co will be providing highest upload speeds from this event.
Any ideas other than the one I posted?
    Any help will be appreciated...
    Cheers

If you can get a mac pro tower with a blackmagic card or other HD converter card and feed it with HD-SDI as that will give you the full bandwidth and also all four audio channels embeded.

If you are using a macbook then it may still be possible with a matrox MXO2 type box.

You can also even go with the canopus as well and feed it with composite SD video.

Right now I will be recording in HD but SD streaming is fine. I am leaning toward canopus.

Gary is right .. we have a BlackMagic Decklink Studio card and we're fronting it with a BlackMagic
    ATEM as a switcher.
