HMC150 - SDHC Cards - What is Everyone Using?
    #1

Just trying to get a feel to see which SDHC cards seem to be working the best for the HMC150...

So... What SDHC Cards are you guys using?

    - Brand?
    - Class Number?

also, please mention if your chosen card has either been working great for you (with no problems at all) or, if you've had any issues with any cards that you've used -

    thanks!

Also, are there any cards out there faster/better than a Class 10?

I use Transcend class 6 32gig SDHC. Also have an Amazon class 10 32gig SDHC. Haven't had any problems with either card, they work well.

I use Lexmark class 10. And also class 6. I have had no problems wih either of them. The class 10 take about 7 seconds to format where the class 6 take about 20 seconds. I will only buy class 10 now thow.

I need to know if these are fast enough for the hmc150.
I'm always going to record on the highest quality setting 21mb/s.

Those will work just fine. Class 6 and above are good.

Thank you. The advertised write speed had me concerned since it was less than 21mb/s.

I would get the absolute fastest cards you can afford. The AVCHD codec is high efficiency and only requires sustained 24mbps write speeds (-ish) for proper recording, meaning you can get away with high quality Class 4. But with USB3 readers and ports becoming more and more the norm, the faster Class 10s and above will speed up getting your footage ingested tremendously.
