Why is that by the way? Seems pretty ackward considering the shipping times to and from the factory.

I also have less than full confidence shipping things into China.

I am assuming that there is a proprietary Metabones device or technology that is needed for future firmware updates on the EOS NEX Adapter. Would it be possible to have a USA distributor such as Birnes and Sawyer (who sells your product) be given the technology to provide future updates? That way, we can just mail it to somewhere in the USA which is much easier, faster and cheaper.

There are new EOS lenses (not that I am buying anymore, but someone might) all the time, so it seems like a future firmware update is un-avoidable for the Metabones adapter.

That is a good idea. Surely the business is hot enough to justify this. Since we are on Version 5 of the firmware first version, obviously a lot of firmware updates are a possibility, and no one wants to send their adapter in 5 times.

I would imagine ramping up production would be priority one right now.
