I got one. No there is no glass. However, the firmware reported on mine is v '00'. Metabones was helpful with instructions on how to return it to have v '02' installed.

Weird, strange how the lighting looks through the center! I am still without one and still trying to get one.

Interesting shape of the opening. By chance does that help reduce sensor reflection/ghost images mentioned in another thread?

Steve Doc Maker - Thanks for sharing your experiences! What do you mean when you say the IS is noisy? Does it add noise to the image? Thanks! Kyle

Weird! I've never heard of the IS audio noise. What creates this noise? I never heard it on my 60D.

Rick Burnett: No glass inside.
You can hear image stabilization, but it is the same on DSLR.Last edited by JardaBar; 02-27-2012 at 11:36 PM.

I've just got my Metabones Canon EF Lens to Sony NEX Smart Adapter http://conurus.com/sony/buy-eos-nex-adapter
.... and it's work PERFECT!!
At first I took little tube and make hard support to it:
..and now, when I torn "Iris wheel" on FS-100 - it change the aperture of any of my Canon-mount Lenses! -->
... and Image Stabilization work perfect with my Canon 70-200 F2.8 L IS lens!I tested my Canon 16-35L, 24-70L, 70-200/2.8 L IS and Sigma 50mm F1.4
..Also, as you have 24-70 lens, I would recommend you to make this " Matbox Extention" I did:
at first - usial problem with 24-70 is the different distance to front element:
So.. I'v got this...and cut it ..
.... I place it here ( Lens in 70mm position ) -->
Front view :
Lens in 24mm position:
Front view :
than.. I did this:
...and finally put black duct tape on it ...
...that's it! ..... I DON'T need to change the position of my matbox when I shoot with Canon 24-70mm Lens!!!
..and tomorrow I'll get new NiSi Fader ND filters Set !! -->
This is SET of 67mm, 72mm, 77mm and 82mm filters ... As soon as I get it.. I will make a TESTS and REVIEW about it!!
