Glad that's fixed! Along the same vein, has everyone else found vimeo playback to be very slow to buffer recently? It just doesn't play straight through any more. Here at work, or at home. It's very annoying.

yeah... for whatever reason, vb4 didn't have that in their video code for youtube and vimeo... they added it to youtube with one of the last updates, but not vimeo... so I just changed the bbcode for it a bit to allow for fullscreen on the embeds.

I've found youtube to really suck for loading up videos lately... hit or miss... lots of stuff loads slow for me... Vimeo has been good for me though.

While coding my website I noticed that the Vimeo embed iframe has two odd parameters: webkitallowfullscreen="webkitAllowFullScreen" allowfullscreen="allowFullScreen"

Jason, was the problem due to this?

nah. there was just no code in the bbcode for video embeds (for the vimeo section of the code) to allow for fullscreen. Just needed to be added in is all.

Ok. Now that I got up to date with the whole iPhone thingy. Vimeo vids won't play while browsing on the phone. It takes me to a Vimeo link with megaloop in the middle and swf on the screen. . If I copy the address and remove that stuff, leaving the video number then it's fine, but is there anything that can be done about that? Another forum I visit it works but opens in a new window.

will have to look into it once i get some other upgrade stuff done in the coming weeks.

hopefully in the first half of the new year we'll have good dvxuser apps for both android and ios devices that will make life easier for all the mobile/tablet folks. but, that'll cost at least a couple of grand to get rolling on, so... it's on the list...

On that note, wanted to add ... my ground-up rewrite of the dvxfest core code also includes plans to make it all mobile compliant. So the viewing/rating will be as easy on your mobile device as it is on your desktop.
