New trailer is out. Still somewhat of a tease. I wasn't sure about the casting of Anne Hathaway as Catwoman but I'm liking what I see from her.

I've seen so many grabs and now footage of cops physically fighting with people in this movie, hand to hand stuff.
Why aren't they shooting these criminals? Shoot Bane too for that matter.

Stuff like that bothers me a little.

The Joker worked because he was either in disguise and/or ran like a weasel when the s*%t hit the fan. Stick and move.

Bane and his cronies are beating on cops and nobody is getting shot. Makes no sense to me.

Looks pretty good though. I'll definitely see it.

And yeah, I know it would be a short movie is some cop just shot Bane but I just don't think the situation should present itself so easily like it does in this movie.
That's the only thing that bothers me. That and he's fairly difficult to understand.

I saw this trailer before I saw Sherlock Holmes last Friday. I was very anxious in the movie theater before the movie hoping I would get to see this trailer. After the trailer came on I had mixed thoughts. I love Nolan I think he is a great dictator and the story of this movie certainly looks good from some stand points.
There were a few things that bothered me. I still feel like Anne Hathaway as Cat women visually looked a bit weird and her acting looked somewhat dull. Another point was the football stadium blowing up looked a bit over the top. The scene looked like it belonged in a movie like Crank. Which is over the top action with little to no plot.
Now I am basing this movie on only 2 minutes of a trailer so I could be wrong with all my opinions. I'm still going to see this movie day one perhaps at midnight, but I am a little concerned it will disappoint me like Spider man 3 did.

Don't worry nothing could be that bad ;)

I agree the trailer was a little subdued, perhaps because the Bane character lacks the visual intensity of the Joker, but I'm incredibly confident Nolan has delivered a fitting end to his trilogy.

I thought the trailer looked fantastic. I love the camera work and staging on every shot - the reflection on the lid during the table approach. The football stadium explosion looked great, much less CG-ish than the Kremlin explosion running scene in Ghost Protocol. I actually though the brief clip of hathaway for catwomen was great - I mean, they didn't show much, but I thought she played the part well and the dialogue fit the character from the little I saw.

Joker is impossible to replace, of course. Even Nolan said that, hence the delay on making the film. We've hardly seen anything on Bane, but given Nolan's record I'm confident it will be the best possible version of Bane we could hope for.

Also just on an editing note. The trailer was incredibly well put together. The national anthem creepily in the background with the lyrics matching every shot. The football/prison chanting "rise" - The slowly building, subdued intensity. Best trailer I've seen in quite some time.

I enjoyed the trailer. The only part that bothered me was the football field exploding. We follow one player as he somehow miraculously makes it across the field unharmed as pieces fall bellow his feet. Even at the end it looks like the ground waits for him to run past it before falling. I kind think it would have had more visual impact if at the final moments that football player fell to his death as well. As is it looks a bit comical.

Aside from that I'm digging Ann Hathaway. Gotta see more of her to be convinced, but we'll see. Bane looks great. I'm not expecting a character to live up to the joker's presence. I don't think Nolan would try to do so. I think Nolan is just going to try to tell a good story rather than try to match the power of the joker's performance in the last.

Oh and I love that Joseph Gordon-Levitt is in this. Been a fan of his for a while, and loved his action work in inception. He may not have a big role, though I hope it's memorable. I could see him as a future action star.

Looks like WB paid to have the new trailer embedded on IMDB.com home page? Not sure IMDB would do that without a fee...but I"ve never seen it done before.

I'm sure I'll see this first weekend, but unfortunately, in my opinion, it seems like they have continued the trend of the obnoxiously "emo" Batman they started with The Dark Knight.
