Hey, I didn't know anyone else in Perth even had one. I couldn't find one for sale in Australia let alone Perth when I was hunting one down (had to be the HVX for the over/under-cranking). Had to import mine from the US. I don't know about prices but in the course of trying to track down local Panasonic dealers I found an authorised repairer. It was either Lord St or Stirling St in the city. I'll get back to you.

I was close, Fitzgerald St. Barhams Electronics. I haven't used them myself but they are the authorised repair shop for panasonic in Perth. I expect its a simple task any competent electronics tech could do but personally I think I'd pay the extra on an investment like this. I expect the Panny cost more than your car. You might as well consider a service and calibration while you're there.

For future reference, in Perth all Panasonic Proffesional equipment can be repaired or replaced at a place in Osborne Park at a place called Vizcom. They are the panasonic outlet here in perth.
