Hey, guys! I'm going to be shooting 24p, squeeze on my 100B and editing in FCP 7.0.03. Only problem is I've never shot with these settings nor have I edited with FCP. I was wondering if anyone has advice or a link to some info on setting up and properly importing the squeezed footage to edit. My intention is to upload the final product on vimeo, if that makes a difference.

All of the related posts I have found aren't dumbed down enough for me! I need help and I'm not afraid to admit it! Thank you!

Set your camera up to shoot 24pA and Squeeze.

The camera adds a pull-down to the video and records it at 29.97.

Set your FCP project up for DV NTSC 48kHz Anamorphic at 23.976fps, but set your capture settings to standard DV NTSC 48kHz Anamorphic with advanced pull-down removal (it has to capture with a 29.97 stream in order to correctly remove the pull-down). If there's not a capture setting that does all that, create your own custom setting; the easiest way to do that is to duplicate the "DV NTSC 48kHz with Advance Pull-Down Removal" capture preset and edit the duplicate copy to include anamorphic.

You should be good to go after that.

... which is why I specified 24pA in my first post.

To the OP: you don't want to use regular 24p mode on the DVX. It can be done, and you can certainly work with it in FCP, but it's going to be MUCH easier to deal with 24pA. The fractured fairy-tale version is that the pull-down is different between the two (both are recorded at 29.97), and restoring the 24p (23.976) stream is easier and cleaner with the advanced pull-down.

I know you did. I just wanted to emphasize the point in no uncertain terms.
